Chapin Forest Reservation protects a mature woodland of beech, maple, tulip, hemlock and oak trees. It is known for its old trees, distinctive rock formations, history and is open year round for activities in each season. Beech Woods Loop is easy and for all levels. It takes you uphill where you can enjoy a view of the famous Chapin Ledges. It ends with a long downhill run to the parking lot.
