Chapin Forest Reservation protects a mature woodland of beech, maple, tulip, hemlock and oak trees. It is known for its old trees, distinctive rock formations, history and is open year round for activities in each season. This is the parks only designated snowshoe trail. It begins and ends at Twin Ponds Shelter.
