A premiere mountain biking adventure, the Tahoe Flume Trail is a fantastic ride. A steep ascent begins the trail, so take your time. After the initial investment the trail is mostly flat or slightly declined for the majority of the distance. There is a fee to ride this trail which you pay at the trailhead (2012 fee is $2.00 if you ride in or $10.00 to park and ride; shuttle service also available).
