This trailhead is one of two in the Shoshone OHV Trail System. The terrain is mostly desert sage with a few trees. The parking area has plenty of room for parking and camping. Vault toilets are provided but no other services. Cell phone service is spotty so come prepared. Nevada registration or out of state registration is required as well as a spark arresting silencer or end cap for all vehicles. There is a noise limit of 96 decibels.
