The Amargosa Dunes is a huge playground that is located 100 miles northwest of Las Vegas. It is popular among locals and a unique place to visit. The sand is firm and resembles beach sand that requires a lot of horsepower. A Nevada registration or out of state registration is required as well as a spark arresting silencer or end cap for all vehicles. Dispersed camping is permitted.
