Potter's Pasture was constructed using existing livestock trails for the use of outdoor recreation, and livestock are still being used to help maintain it today. Due to the hoof-trodden tracks, the dirt trails can be quite worn, narrow, and bumpy. There are a network of routes laced among the hillsides; where many, if not all somehow connect to one another and can be combined for a mixed adventure. Adaptability is important as future expansion can cause the layout to change. Most of this particular route contains three lengthy up and down sections, each spiking in elevation over 100 feet. This trail can also appear faded in some areas and have multiple forks, so be attentive to where it continues along. Note that both hikers and bikers use the trails regularly.
