Two Rivers State Recreation Area is a 622-acre park located on the banks of the Platte River as it makes its way through the rural outskirts of Omaha. The park features multiple sandpit lakes and peaceful woods for visitors to explore. The state park offers 7 different camping areas throughout the park. The Lakeside and Fawn Meadows camping area is situated on the western shoreline of one of the lakes and offers 48 sites for tents, trailers, and RVs up to 50 feet long. Amenities include picnic tables, fire pits, drinking water, electric hookups, restrooms, and a dump station. The sites are $25-$30 per night. Half of the sites are available on a first-come, first-serve basis and the other half can be reserved beforehand if made at least 3 days before arrival.
