The Tomahawk Motorcycle trail system consists of 3 loops that provide miles and miles of exciting and scenic riding through state forest land in the upper portion of the Lower Peninsula. This ride follow the A loop which is the northernmost loop and is almost 20 miles long. The A loop trail is good for beginner to intermediate riders and can accommodate motorcycles and ATVs/ORVs up to 50 inches wide. The trail is mostly hardpacked dirt with very few obstacles or hazards. An ORV sticker and trail permit are required for riding.
