Michigan offers over 6500 miles of designated snowmobile trails for riders to explore and enjoy during the winter. The trails are split into 4 different regions between the upper and lower peninsula. The trails are named and numbered after the peninsula. LP 59 is located on the Southern Lower Peninsula. This section of the trail covers 25 miles of groomed trail through rural countryside between the staging area near Dewey Lake south to the outskirts of Niles. The trail is fairly flat with no major hazards or obstacles. For current trail status and riding conditions contact the Driftskippers Snowmobile Club and Edwardsburg Snowmobile Club. A current Michigan registration and trail permit are required for riding.
