Michigan offers over 6500 miles of designated and groomed snowmobile trails for riders to explore during the winter. The trails are split into 4 different regions between the Upper and Lower Peninsulas. This ride on the southern Lower Peninsula follows LP 191 for 18 miles south to the town of Rothbury. The ride has moderate changes in elevation and no major obstacles or hazards. Trails are open for riding between December 1st and March 31st. For current trail status and riding conditions contact the Michigan DNR or local snowmobile clubs. A current Michigan registration and trail permit are required for riding.
