The Huron ORV Trail starts just west of the town of Oscoda and Lake Huron shoreline and covers over 30 miles of scenic and rugged terrain in Huron National Forest. The out-and-back ORV trail is wide and sandy with very little change in elevation. The trail is open to motorized vehicles that are 50 inches less or width. The trail is also popular for snowmobiling during the winter when there is snow. Additional riding can also be found on the Huron-Sand Lake spur trail which travels south to Sand Lake. A Michigan ORV sticker and trail permit are required for riding the Huron ORV Trail.
