The Forest Island Route and Trail is located just west of Green Bay on the Lake Michigan shoreline and offers almost 50 miles of scenic OHV riding trails through Escanaba State Forest. The majority of this ride follows a route that is open to OHVs of all sizes including motorcycles. There are some portions of trail that are only open to vehicles 50 inches or less though. Exploring the trails requires an ORV license and trail permit.
