The Congamond Lakes are located in Southwick and consist of three main basins, north, middle, and south ponds. Together, the three ponds cover an area of 465 acres that lie directly on the border of Massachusetts and Connecticut. The east shore of the middle and south ponds is within the boundaries of Connecticut. The middle pond is the largest and is the site of the two public boat ramps. To access the north and the south ponds there are tunnels under the roads that are passable by boat. The shoreline is well-developed and boat traffic can be heavy at times. There may be a small boat launch fee required.
