Sebago Lake is the second largest lake in Maine and located near the large city of Portland. Its water's are clear and very deep. Due to its proximity to local development, many power boaters like to recreate here and so paddlers may wish to steer clear of the open water and stay close to the shoreline. Be also cautious of windy or bad weather that can cause hazardous conditions on the water. This particular route travels from Sebago Lake Marina to Sebago Lake Station Landing and back again. One may end the journey at Station Landing if a shuttle option has been arranged and also if one is a resident of Sebago Lake or else a fee is usually required.
