At high water levels, this long river route provides a good amount of whitewater paddling with popular sections called, Hayden's Landing, Elephant Rock, and the Mine Field. To get to the put-in, one will need to drive along a small dirt road for several miles before reaching a small parking area at the river's edge. Beginning just downriver from Grand Falls, this route takes one through isolated woodland. Large rocks and holes can appear on the river depending on water levels.
