This ride follows a gravel road that is entirely in Baxter State Park and offers a long and rugged ride through a very remote and wild wilderness area of Maine. The weather, wildlife, and insects along with some long climbs make it a challenging experience best suited for experienced riders. Plan on spending a few days to cover the area. There will be some vehicle traffic along the two-wheel drive ride in case of an emergency but the area is way out there so come prepared with supplies and food.
