Redbird State Recreation offers 700 acres of ORV trails as well as some challenge areas. The terrain was created by historic coal mining. There is a fee and all ORVs must have spark arrestors and mufflers. Trails are marked and have limitations according to size. Trail 2X is one of the most difficult trails here. You can expect steep hills, mud, roots, rocks, and technical challenges.
