Wolf Creek State Park is situated on the eastern shoreline of Lake Shelbyville and offers an excellent setting for recreation, including snowmobiling, in east central Illinois. The park allows snowmobiling on 16 miles of equestrian trails. The trail travels through a mixture of open meadows and dense forest. The terrain does feature some rolling hills but there are no major climbs or steeps descents. The trails are open between 7:30 am and 10:00 pm during the winter.
