The Hennepin Feeder Canal Trail runs from north to south in rural northern Illinois between Rock Falls and the convergence with the main Hennepin Canal Trail. The 30-mile trail follows a canal for the entire duration and is very flat with no obstacles or hazards. The main Hennepin Canal Trail also provides additional opportunities for snowmobiling as well. There must be at least 4 inches of accumulated snowfall on the trail. Contact the visitor center for the state trail for current trail status and riding conditions. .
