Grant Woods Preserve is a scenic nature preserve in Lake County that offers all types of opportunities for recreation including snowmobiling. The preserve offers almost 5 miles of trails for snowmobiles to utilize. The trails are flat with no no major obstacles or avalanche hazard. The trails are only open for riding if there is at least a 4-inch snow base. The trails are open between December 10th and March 31st regardless of how much snow is on the ground.
