Soldiers Meadow Reservoir is located in Nez Perce County and can be accessed from either Soldiers Meadow Road or Road 575. This canoeing trip starts on the northern end of the reservoir at the dam, which is used to fill the waters from Webb Creek. The 124-acre reservoir is nestled in the canyons & dissected highlands ecological region of Idaho with 4 miles of shoreline, and there are excellent views of the surrounding Craig Mountains while paddling. The site offers restrooms, boat ramps, campgrounds, picnicking, and swimming. Rainbow Trout and kokanee are known to be stocked in the water, and the Idaho Fish & Game own 65,000 acres surrounding the property.
