Helende Campground is situated just a few hundred yards from the South Fork Payette River on scenic Highway 21. The area offers excellent fishing, paddling, and hiking. Kirkham Hot Springs is also located just 5 miles away. The campground consists of 15 sites that can accommodate tents and RV equipment up to 60 feet in length. Picnic tables, fire pits, drinking water, and vault toilets are available within the campground. All sites are $15 per night. Reservations are available for most of the sites but these must be made at least 4 days ahead of arrival.
