Bear Lake is a beautiful rural and recreational paradise shared by Idaho and Utah. It is one of the largest natural lakes in the Western United States with an abundance of public beach access and visitors enjoy a number of activities. Because of its turquoise blue water, the lake is often referred to as the Caribbean of the Rockies. The water is stocked with Bear Lake cutthroat trout, and there are also many different species of birds that inhabit the area.
