This state park preserve offers visitors a wide variety of natural habitats and varied terrain to explore including white sand beaches, large sand dunes, freshwater lakes, wetlands, and more. The area offers abundant recreational opportunity including hiking, fishing, wildlife viewing, and camping. The RV park in the state park consists of 156 sites including RV sites and tent-only sites. The RV sites have full hookups and picnic tables. The tent-only sites have fire pits. The campground offers other amenities including showers, laundry, and a swimming pool. There are also one-bedroom, fully furnished bungalows and two-bedroom cabins that are available for rent. The rental units have kitchens and bathrooms. The campgrounds and rental units can be reserved online but must be made at least a day in advance. The cost per night is $24 for a tent site, $42 for RV sites, and $120-$145 for the rental cabins and bungalows. Pets are not allowed in the rental cabins or bungalows.
