Alafia River State Park offers a network of mountain biking trails that provide riders of all skill levels some fun and scenic terrain for riding. This ride follows the Sand Pine trail which is rated as easy and connects to many other easy and intermediate trails in the system. It can be ridden as an out-and-back or a loop by utilizing connecting multi-use trails. There is very little elevation change along this section and the trails are well marked making it a great choice for beginners.
