The wide Mystic River offers an easy paddle through busy waters with a lot of historically significant sites. You may see old tall ships and vintage sailboats. A historical feature in the area is the tall whaling ship, the J. P. Morgan. Be aware that there is a lot of traffic around the seaport on this river that include powerboats, tour boars and sailboats.
