Squaw Leap Loop descends towards the San Joaquin River where it crosses over a bridge and continues to make a windy loop through a mixed forest. The ascent beyond the bridge is a steady non-technical climb along a doubletrack, where the return follows a more technical downhill singletrack. The trail is hard packed and a mix of smooth and rutted out sections especially after heavy rainfalls. Restroom facilities are available at the parking lot. Be cautious of hikers around the bridge.
