Located at an elevation of 4,600 feet inside Kings Canyon National Park, Canyon View Group Sites sit amongst a cedar and ponderosa pine forest at the south fork of Kings River. This area is known as Cedar Grove and offers great views of tall cliffs faces, waterfalls and rivers. Visitors to the area have numerous recreational opportunities, the most popular activities are rock climbing “North Dome” and “Grand Sentinel”, hiking the trails in Cedar Grove, horseback riding and fishing the Kings River. Many other activities are located near by such as: Boyden Cave, Hume Lake, Grizzly Falls, Zumwalt Meadow and Sequoia Groves just to name a few. Canyon View Group Sites offer four large larger group sites and 12 smaller group sites. All sites have picnic tables, fire rings, and bear proof food lockers. Flush toilets and drinking water is available. A general store, snack bar, hotel, showers and laundry services are located near by at the Cedar Grove Village. Nightly Rates range from $40 - $60.
