Named after Alabama’s only female governor, Lurleen Wallace, Lake Lurleen State Park is located northwest of the cities of Tuscaloosa and Northport, Alabama. Begin this trip along Lake Lurleen from the main boat ramp located near the main entrance of the Park. From here enjoy this 250 acre park lake with great scenic vistas from every point along the shoreline. Facilities include a campground, picnic area,pavilions with play areas, beach area with bathhouse, fishing piers, boat rentals and boat-launch areas. This is a great destination for the whole family. Day use entrance fee is $3.
